Booking & Cancellation
Last Updated : July 2026
1. Booking Confirmation
A shoot is only confirmed once "aprcommercials" has received the agreed booking deposit and written approval of the invoice.
Until the deposit has been paid, the shoot date remains provisional and may be offered to another client.
A 50% deposit is required to secure the project. The remaining 50% balance must be paid no later than the day before the shoot.
2. Deposit Policy
Booking deposits secure the shoot date, planning time, preparation work, and any equipment or production arrangements required for the project.
Once the shoot date has been confirmed and preparation has begun, the booking deposit is non-refundable.
For ongoing monthly work or retainers, payment is required in advance of each billing period unless agreed otherwise in writing.
3. Cancellation
If the Client cancels the shoot, the booking deposit is non-refundable.
If the Client cancels within 7 days of the agreed shoot date, "aprcommercials" may charge for any work already completed, time already reserved, or costs already arranged for the project.
If the Client cancels within 48 hours of the shoot, the full project fee may still be payable, as the production time has already been reserved and may not be possible to rebook.
This may include planning time, editing time, travel, hired equipment, locations, talent, stock assets, music, or any other agreed project costs.
4. Rescheduling
"aprcommercials" will always try to accommodate reasonable rescheduling requests.
One free reschedule is permitted per project, provided the Client gives at least 72 hours’ notice before the shoot.
Further rescheduling requests, late changes, or repeated date changes may incur an additional admin or transfer fee.
If the Client reschedules within 48 hours of the shoot, "aprcommercials" may charge for any costs, time, or bookings already committed.
5. Weather & Force Majeure
If a shoot is affected by severe weather, illness, unsafe filming conditions, transport disruption, venue issues, equipment failure, or other circumstances outside reasonable control, "aprcommercials" will make reasonable efforts to rearrange the shoot for a suitable new date.
If "aprcommercials" is unable to carry out the shoot due to illness, emergency, or circumstances outside reasonable control, the Client will be offered either a suitable new shoot date or a refund for any work that has not yet been completed.
Any payments already made can be transferred to the new agreed date.
The Client remains responsible for any non-refundable third-party costs that have already been agreed or arranged for the project.
6. Late Payment
Final videos, images, edits, raw footage, or project files will not be released until all outstanding payments have been received.
If payment has not been received before the shoot, "aprcommercials" may delay, reschedule, or cancel the booking until payment has cleared.
Any additional work, extra edits, travel costs, location costs, or agreed add-ons will be invoiced separately and must be paid within 14 days of the invoice date.
For ongoing monthly work or retainers, future shoots, edits, or delivery dates may be paused until the account has been paid.
